As a Chef de Partie, you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:
- You will be responsible for creating in delectable dishes for our Wolfgang Puck restaurant, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will be entrusted with supervising the cooking personnel in your section, while also having the opportunity to participate in menu planning as well as being responsible for maintaining budgeted food and recipe costs. All to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. .
- Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary requirements, off-menu requests and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Chef de Partie.
The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Chef de Partie, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.
- The operational hours of work are shift-based and we would require flexibility
Essential Skills & Experience
- Basic Culinary Knowledge: Can cook a range of dishes using various techniques (e.g., grilling, roasting, frying).
- Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP) and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
- Time Management

- Physical Endurance: Able to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Adaptability
- Knife Skills: Competence in using kitchen knives for chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients safely.

- Experience with Dietary Restrictions: Familiarity with preparing dishes that cater to various dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegan)
