• You will be responsible for delivering a warm, polished, and highly personalized welcome experience in the lobby of One at Palm Jumeirah, greeting residents, their family members, and visitors with genuine care and professionalism, and ensuring every arrival and departure reflects the exceptional standards of Dorchester Collection.
• You’ll also work in close partnership with the Doorman and Concierge team to ensure all resident requests are fulfilled seamlessly, supporting arrivals and departures through luggage assistance, resident deliveries, and thoughtful recognition, always addressing residents by name and maintaining a composed, welcoming presence.
• Our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together, and Creativity guide us each day. As a Lobby Host, you’ll have the opportunity to bring these values to life, contributing to the Dorchester Collection “We Care” philosophy while creating moments of recognition and connection for our residents and their guests.
• This is a high‑energy, visible front‑of‑house role that requires you to remain attentive, well‑presented, and service‑focused throughout your shift, including standing for extended periods and supporting physically active tasks such as luggage handling and resident deliveries.
• You will ensure effective communication and shift handovers, maintain full knowledge of residence policies, procedures, and facilities, and demonstrate flexibility by supporting both day and night shifts as operational needs require.
• The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Lobby Host, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our residence, our residents, and our colleagues at One at Palm Jumeirah.

• You’ll bring your warm personality, attention to detail, and passion for luxury service to the role and the Residences team.
• You have a talent for creating unforgettable first impressions, multitasking gracefully in a fast‑paced environment, and maintaining a consistently high level of service with confidence and empathy.
• You bring 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role or within a luxury hotel or branded residential environment.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborate effectively with colleagues across teams, and contribute positively to a strong service culture.
• English is the primary language used at One at Palm Jumeirah. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages are an advantage.
