- Our Assistant Housekeeping Managers are responsible for being brave and passionate leaders who provide oversight and leadership of the Housekeeping Operations through their direct reports during their day. This will include providing memorable moments and emotional connections with the team and guests by ensuring proper input of information into NEXUS (guest information management system), updating and Unifocus coming soon, and providing open communication. They will work also closely with supporting departments including Guest Relations Concept (front office), Engineering, Global Contact Center (reservations) and as well as the Sales Department. The Assistant Housekeeping Managers are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day leadership of the Housekeeping Department to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- Sometimes our guests have special requests involving linen preferences, specific bedding, room amenities and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Supervisors and Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
- Collaborating and Teamwork is equally important when working closing with our Supervisors and Office dispatcher ensuring the day to day assignments are fair and work loads are being monitor and productive is checked daily.
- Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Assistant Housekeeping Managers are relied upon to report these and work with several other departments to correct.
- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Assistant Housekeeping Managers must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
