As a Sales Coordinator at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $28.44 per hour.

What you'll do

A day in the life of our Sales Coordinators… it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Sales Coordinators accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.


• Our Sales Coordinators are responsible for performing general administrative and clerical functions including: sending emails, answering phones, word processing, photocopying, and mail distribution. They also prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, agreements or letters) and handle initial inquiries for individual reservations and group booking requests and coordinate with the Global Contact Center during their day.

 

• This will include compiling weekly and monthly sales activities for DC weekly report, and other reporting requirements as requested, gathering materials and assembling information packages (e.g., brochures, sales kits, promotional materials) to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. They also assist in establishing relationships with other departments, while executing  outgoing correspondence including, proposals, contracts, and email messages to ensure accuracy and continuity of Dorchester Collection brand image.

• Sometimes our guests and clients have special requests involving room assignments, preferences and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Sales Coordinators. 


• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Sales Coordinators are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. 


• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Sales Coordinators must communicate with other departments in order to ensure the alignment remains.


• The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Sales Coordinators are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods, to reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate office equipment. Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. They must occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist. Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light (10 lbs) to moderate amounts (up to 30 pounds) of weight; Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments.

 

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
