As a Bar Manager at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will range between $85,000-$95,000 annual salary range.

A day in the life of a Bar Manager demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that the Bar Manager accomplishes would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.
• Manage day to day bar operations in the lobby café and hotel bar outlets, ensuring consistency in execution, service, and product quality.
• Develop and implement SOPs, cocktail recipes, and service standards.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain brand alignment.
• Develop cocktail list and beer offerings tailored for each concept.
• Maintain budgeted beverage cost for the property.
• Editing and printing of all beverage menus and wine lists.
• Accurate programming of all Micros beverage items.
• Create, monitor, and implement action plans to maximize revenue.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels, beverage cost, scheduling, payroll, and employee records.
• Ensure that employees adhere to established procedures and standards.
• Develop and implement staff training plans and procedures.
• Complete special projects as outlined by the F&B leadership team.
• Ensure a neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Resolve guest complaints.
The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, the Bar Manager is provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
What you'll bring
• You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
• 3-5 years leadership experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining or high-quality bar environment.
• Proven success with developing a cocktail program and training a bar team.
• Level One Court of Master Sommelier certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and P&L performance.
• Ability to remain composed and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a talent and commitment to service excellence and creativity.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
