Our Executive Housekeeper is a key leader in our hotel. Entrusted with being tenacious about cleanliness, timeliness to lead guest and team engagement. Though skillfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate reasonability, to create lifelong memories for our guests.

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

  • Our Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for the high standards of all our rooms and suites, ensuring The Dorchester continues to be an iconic and incredible place to visit for our guests.
  • You will be running the largest department in the hotel, responsible for engaging the teams, and taking the department from strength to strength
  • Our values of Personality, Passion, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day.  The purpose of Executive Housekeeper is to live their behaviours to continue to create our legacy. 

Qualifications and Desirables

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel is essential for success in this role
  • An excellent track record of delivering outstanding experiences, as well as leading and guiding a large team
  • All of our employees are ambassadors of our Vision, Values and culture. Our Executive Housekeeper will do this with all they do.
  • We encourage the unique personalities and passions of our employees, working together; as a team, a hotel and Collection.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our Assistant Executive Housekeeper must feel comfortable communicating in this language.
