As a Cabana Café Assistant Manager at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will range between $67,000-$70,000 annually.

A day in the life of our  Assistant Cabana Café Manager… it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Assistant Cabana Café Manager accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.  

• Our Assistant Cabana Café Manager understands all Cabana Café and Pool processes and serves as the expert on execution. 

• Responsible for  the overall management of the Cabana Café/Pool operational functions within the department during their day.

• Creates a positive environment and immediately addresses and understands team member concerns. Connects with Cabana Café hourly team members and assist with necessary training and L&D materials to ensure a successful operation that impacts the guest experience.

• Supports the outlet to ensure service execution is consistent and ensures service delivery enables the key brand benefits.

• PROmiss resolution and follow up. Responsible for maximizing revenue through reservation management and sales initiatives.

• Strong relationship with the Culinary team and Guest Relations team to partner for shift execution and bespoke guest experiences. Strong relationship with Guest Relations to deliver on brand experiences in the Cabana’s through the start/end of a shift for the purpose of making job assignments.

• This will include MOD shift coverage, management and readiness – planning and executing for each shift – floor maps and server assignments, reservation management thorough line up notes, outlet walk-throughs.

• Administrative duties as it relates to the operation – pulling itemized receipts, Cabana Café authorization forms, cake forms, running necessary OT and Micros reports that support the operation, daily pass on log to include pertinent and accurate information.

• Monitor and manage payroll functions –  clock in, time cards, schedule adjustments, time and attendance log, status change forms.

• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving our Assistant Cabana Café Manager including dietary restrictions, cabana preferences and special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Assistant Cabana Café Manager. 

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Assistant Cabana Café Manager is relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
